I know its early! Our time will be limited so we will get right to our meeting. Bring your coffee!
If you are coordinating a Workshop Session, please come prepared with the latest updates as to speakers (confirmed or invited) and if you need help with anything.
We will also talk about the venue set up. Heinrich has updates from meetings with City staff. This will also relate to the Workshop sessions and room coordination.
Thank you to all for helping with Fundraising and Promoting the Congress -- we have received more
commitments and inquiries from prospective sponsors outside the NC system. Should we reach out to the Councilmembers too? We need approx $6,000 +/- in additional funds to cover expenses.
We need volunteers to take on some new tasks. So, if you do not yet have a task, this will be a great opportunity. If you or someone you know likes to work with a lot of people at once, we need a "volunteer" coordinator, and a name badge and handouts coordinator.
For anyone who can't make the meeting this Saturday, please send your updates to me so we can keep everyone in the loop.
